Specializing in providing firearms training and education services, Ar Garda is actually Irish for “On Guard” and that is the purpose for our business. We want to help you become on guard for things that can go wrong in your life and prepare for the unexpected. We are focused on firearms training but also provide other courses to prepare you for life’s little twists.
If you watch the news and listen to so many people today you will hear nothing but negative statements about firearms and the firearms industry. We are here clear away all the fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) that has been spread out there and help people learn to relax and enjoy handling firearms and the shooting sports.
It is not our goal to turn our students into hard charging operators that can overthrow a minor despot with nothing but a bit of twine, a .22 caliber pistol, and a spork (gotta have something with which to eat the can of beans). Instead we work with our students to make them comfortable with the firearms, improve the skills they have already, and learn new skills.
Our Chief Instructor is Andy Roche. Raised as a military brat he has had a lifetime love of firearms and is passionate about teaching others the safe use of firearm for sport and survival. One of the first 10 USCCA Certified Instructors in the state of Nebraska he has quickly begun to establish his credibility and aptitude for teaching other in a basic, straightforward, and understandable way.
Always available for private lessons, we will also be posting new classes as they come available. Watch out though, our classes are popular and fill up quick.
